Essentials of Marketing

This module is all about how to get the right product/service, in the right place, at the right price, at the right time… to the right consumer.

You will learn about fundamental marketing concepts, including the AIDA model and the three main market strategies: Cost Leadership, Product Differentiation and Market Segmentation.

We will delve into the strategic aspects of marketing and planning for your success.

We will define the marketing mix (Product, Price, Promotion and Place) and two variations of the mix – the 7Ps and the 4Ps of the social business. We will also explain consumer behavior and how to create target audience segments that work for your business.

Other areas we will address include your identity, your USP and your branding, and different methods for budgeting. We will then walk you through how to go about setting SMART objectives.

We will explore the benefits and strategies of Inbound Marketing and Outbound Marketing. We will detail metrics that you can use to measure the effectiveness of your marketing efforts and your success.

You will learn about various aspects of sales and selling, such as buying signals, closing the deal and discussing money the your clients.
